This track is intended to be a "play along" middle-ground/background for a solo improvisor playing any instrument. The scale being used by the computer instrumentation on this track is a permuted version of Didymos Enhbarmonic. In pitch letters, assuming middle C = 262 Hz, this scale would read C, Db, C#, F, G, Ab, G#, C.

Note for improvisors: It will be easier for an improvisor not familiar with this scale to think of it as being a pentatonic scale where there are two versions of two of the notes of the scale. C (Db,C#), F, G, (Ab,G#) C. These notes are very close together. What this means to an improvisor is that she may take liberties with the exact intonation of these two notes, that they function somewhat like "blue notes" in a blues scale.
In my improvisation I found myself frequently using notes that were outside the Enharmonic used in the study. This is not a problem, as the tonality of this enharmonic scale is quite strong, and will stand up to a fair amount of variation without losing its character. For those who are interested in exact specifications of scales, the scale used in the study is, starting with C: 1/1, 256/243, 16/15, 4/3, 3/2, 128/81, 8/5, 2/1.
